Situated in Culasi, Antique, Barangay Jalandoni is one of 44 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

This made it the 12th largest of 44 barangays in Culasi by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Jalandoni accounted for approximately 3.27% of the total population of Culasi, which stood at 44,494 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,485 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,453 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Jalandoni as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
