Barangay Gubat

Barangay Gubat forms part of Daet, a municipality in Camarines Norte, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 5th largest of 25 barangays in Daet by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gubat moving from 7,520 residents to 6,699 residents, an intercensal change of -10.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Gubat as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Daet is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gubat, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
