Barangay Lag-On

Situated in Daet, Camarines Norte, Barangay Lag-On is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lag-On had a population of 6,264. This made it the 6th largest of 25 barangays in Daet by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lag-On accounted for approximately 5.61% of the total population of Daet, which stood at 111,700 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lag-On moving from 6,584 residents to 6,264 residents, an intercensal change of -4.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lag-On as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
