Barangay Guinsay

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Guinsay is one of the administrative divisions of Danao City in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guinsay had a population of 10,394. This made it the 4th largest of 42 barangays in Danao City by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Guinsay accounted for approximately 6.65% of the total population of Danao City, which stood at 156,321 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Guinsay moving from 9,152 residents to 10,394 residents, an intercensal change of +13.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guinsay as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
