Barangay Nangka

Barangay Nangka forms part of Danao City, a city in Cebu, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 41st largest of 42 barangays in Danao City by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Nangka changed from 413 to 523, a shift of +26.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Danao City. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nangka as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Danao City is a city comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nangka, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
