Barangay Oguis

Situated in Danao City, Cebu, Barangay Oguis is one of 42 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Oguis had a population of 651. This made it the 39th largest of 42 barangays in Danao City by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Oguis accounted for approximately 0.42% of the total population of Danao City, which stood at 156,321 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Oguis changed from 634 to 651, a shift of +2.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Danao City. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Oguis as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
