Barangay Dagohoy

Barangay Dagohoy forms part of Danao, a municipality in Bohol, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dagohoy had a population of 810. This made it the 13th largest of 17 barangays in Danao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dagohoy accounted for approximately 4.00% of the total population of Danao, which stood at 20,245 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dagohoy moving from 659 residents to 810 residents, an intercensal change of +22.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dagohoy as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
