Barangay Hibale

Situated in Danao, Bohol, Barangay Hibale is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Hibale had a population of 874. This made it the 12th largest of 17 barangays in Danao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Hibale accounted for approximately 4.32% of the total population of Danao, which stood at 20,245 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Hibale moving from 843 residents to 874 residents, an intercensal change of +3.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Hibale as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
