Barangay Manhoy

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Manhoy is one of the administrative divisions of Dao in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Manhoy had a population of 1,902. This made it the 7th largest of 20 barangays in Dao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Manhoy accounted for approximately 5.62% of the total population of Dao, which stood at 33,842 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Manhoy moving from 1,994 residents to 1,902 residents, an intercensal change of -4.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Manhoy is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
