Barangay Quinayuya

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Quinayuya is one of the administrative divisions of Dao in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Quinayuya had a population of 1,281. This made it the 14th largest of 20 barangays in Dao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quinayuya accounted for approximately 3.79% of the total population of Dao, which stood at 33,842 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Quinayuya moving from 1,270 residents to 1,281 residents, an intercensal change of +0.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Quinayuya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
