Barangay Alobo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Alobo is one of the administrative divisions of Daraga in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Alobo had a population of 794. This made it the 44th largest of 54 barangays in Daraga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alobo accounted for approximately 0.59% of the total population of Daraga, which stood at 133,893 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Alobo changed from 841 to 794, a shift of -5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Daraga. Barangay Alobo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Daraga is a municipality comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Alobo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
