Barangay Ampakling

Situated in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya, Barangay Ampakling is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ampakling had a population of 855. This made it the 10th largest of 19 barangays in Diadi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ampakling accounted for approximately 4.44% of the total population of Diadi, which stood at 19,236 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ampakling moving from 759 residents to 855 residents, an intercensal change of +12.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Ampakling is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
