Barangay Arwas

Barangay Arwas forms part of Diadi, a municipality in Nueva Vizcaya, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Arwas had a population of 932. This made it the 9th largest of 19 barangays in Diadi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Arwas changed from 814 to 932, a shift of +14.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Diadi. Barangay Arwas is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Diadi is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Arwas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Vizcaya, which contains 275 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Arwas ranks 210th by 2020 population.
