Barangay Diniog

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Diniog is one of the administrative divisions of Dilasag in Aurora, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Diniog had a population of 2,726. This made it the 1st largest of 11 barangays in Dilasag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Diniog accounted for approximately 15.94% of the total population of Dilasag, which stood at 17,102 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Diniog changed from 2,485 to 2,726, a shift of +9.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dilasag. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Diniog as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dilasag is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Diniog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
