Barangay Tuno

Situated in Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay, Barangay Tuno is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tuno had a population of 383. This made it the 22nd largest of 22 barangays in Diplahan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tuno accounted for approximately 1.18% of the total population of Diplahan, which stood at 32,585 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tuno moving from 353 residents to 383 residents, an intercensal change of +8.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tuno as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
