Barangay Del Pilar

Situated in Dulag, Leyte, Barangay Del Pilar is one of 45 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Pilar had a population of 988. This made it the 18th largest of 45 barangays in Dulag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Pilar accounted for approximately 2.02% of the total population of Dulag, which stood at 48,992 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 985 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 988 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.3%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Del Pilar is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dulag is a municipality comprising 45 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Pilar, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
