Barangay Lamak

Situated in Dumanjug, Cebu, Barangay Lamak is one of 37 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lamak had a population of 557. This made it the 31st largest of 37 barangays in Dumanjug by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lamak accounted for approximately 0.96% of the total population of Dumanjug, which stood at 57,823 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lamak changed from 570 to 557, a shift of -2.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Dumanjug. Barangay Lamak is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dumanjug is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lamak, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
