Barangay Masa

Situated in Dumanjug, Cebu, Barangay Masa is one of 37 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Masa had a population of 724. This made it the 27th largest of 37 barangays in Dumanjug by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Masa accounted for approximately 1.25% of the total population of Dumanjug, which stood at 57,823 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 618 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 724 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +17.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Masa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
