Barangay Poblacion Sima

Situated in Dumanjug, Cebu, Barangay Poblacion Sima is one of 37 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion Sima had a population of 538. This made it the 33rd largest of 37 barangays in Dumanjug by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Sima accounted for approximately 0.93% of the total population of Dumanjug, which stood at 57,823 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 588 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 538 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -8.5%, consistent with a contracting settlement.
