Barangay Villamor

Barangay Villamor is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Esperanza, located in the province of Sultan Kudarat, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Villamor had a population of 3,849. This made it the 10th largest of 19 barangays in Esperanza by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villamor accounted for approximately 5.15% of the total population of Esperanza, which stood at 74,696 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Villamor changed from 2,996 to 3,849, a shift of +28.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Esperanza. Barangay Villamor is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Esperanza is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villamor, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Villamor ranks 71st by 2020 population.
