Barangay Rebecca

Barangay Rebecca is a small barangay in the municipality of Gonzaga, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rebecca had a population of 1,046. This made it the 20th largest of 25 barangays in Gonzaga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rebecca accounted for approximately 2.51% of the total population of Gonzaga, which stood at 41,680 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rebecca moving from 985 residents to 1,046 residents, an intercensal change of +6.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Rebecca as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
