Barangay Oregon

Barangay Oregon is a small barangay in the municipality of Governor Generoso, located in the province of Davao Oriental, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Oregon had a population of 1,186. This made it the 20th largest of 20 barangays in Governor Generoso by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Oregon accounted for approximately 1.98% of the total population of Governor Generoso, which stood at 59,891 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Oregon moving from 1,126 residents to 1,186 residents, an intercensal change of +5.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Oregon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
