Barangay Rizal

Situated in Guagua, Pampanga, Barangay Rizal is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal had a population of 4,241. This made it the 12th largest of 31 barangays in Guagua by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 3.29% of the total population of Guagua, which stood at 128,893 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 3,943 residents to 4,241 residents, an intercensal change of +7.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Rizal is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Guagua is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
