Barangay San Isidro forms part of Guagua, a municipality in Pampanga, and is classified as a small barangay.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 1,346 to 1,463, a shift of +8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Guagua. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Guagua is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 444th by 2020 population.
