Barangay San Miguel

Situated in Guagua, Pampanga, Barangay San Miguel is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Miguel had a population of 5,108. This made it the 9th largest of 31 barangays in Guagua by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Miguel accounted for approximately 3.96% of the total population of Guagua, which stood at 128,893 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Miguel changed from 4,710 to 5,108, a shift of +8.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Guagua. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Miguel as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Guagua is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Miguel, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Miguel ranks 145th by 2020 population.
