Situated in Guagua, Pampanga, Barangay San Pablo is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Pablo changed from 2,966 to 3,209, a shift of +8.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Guagua. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Pablo as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Guagua is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Pablo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Pablo ranks 277th by 2020 population.
