Barangay Santo Cristo

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Santo Cristo is one of the administrative divisions of Guagua in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Cristo had a population of 3,767. This made it the 17th largest of 31 barangays in Guagua by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Cristo accounted for approximately 2.92% of the total population of Guagua, which stood at 128,893 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,605 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,767 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Cristo as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Guagua is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Cristo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santo Cristo ranks 231st by 2020 population.
