Barangay Carriedo

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Carriedo is one of the administrative divisions of Gubat in Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Carriedo had a population of 2,282. This made it the 4th largest of 42 barangays in Gubat by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Carriedo accounted for approximately 3.78% of the total population of Gubat, which stood at 60,294 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Carriedo moving from 2,244 residents to 2,282 residents, an intercensal change of +1.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Carriedo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
