Barangay Cabasi

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cabasi is one of the administrative divisions of Guimbal in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabasi had a population of 1,088. This made it the 13th largest of 33 barangays in Guimbal by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabasi accounted for approximately 3.11% of the total population of Guimbal, which stood at 35,022 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabasi changed from 1,011 to 1,088, a shift of +7.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Guimbal. Barangay Cabasi is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
