Barangay Bukal Maligaya

Barangay Bukal Maligaya forms part of Guinayangan, a municipality in Quezon, and is classified as a very small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bukal Maligaya had a population of 257. This made it the 49th largest of 54 barangays in Guinayangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bukal Maligaya accounted for approximately 0.58% of the total population of Guinayangan, which stood at 44,045 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 265 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 257 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bukal Maligaya as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Guinayangan is a municipality comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bukal Maligaya, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Bukal Maligaya ranks 1128th by 2020 population.
