Barangay Catomag

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Catomag is one of the administrative divisions of Guinobatan in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Catomag had a population of 776. This made it the 40th largest of 44 barangays in Guinobatan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Catomag accounted for approximately 0.90% of the total population of Guinobatan, which stood at 85,786 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Catomag moving from 796 residents to 776 residents, an intercensal change of -2.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Catomag as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
