Barangay Ilawod

Barangay Ilawod is a small barangay in the municipality of Guinobatan, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ilawod had a population of 1,954. This made it the 17th largest of 44 barangays in Guinobatan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ilawod accounted for approximately 2.28% of the total population of Guinobatan, which stood at 85,786 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ilawod moving from 2,209 residents to 1,954 residents, an intercensal change of -11.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Ilawod is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
