Barangay Villa Fuerte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Villa Fuerte is one of the administrative divisions of Gumaca in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Villa Fuerte had a population of 664. This made it the 33rd largest of 59 barangays in Gumaca by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa Fuerte accounted for approximately 0.92% of the total population of Gumaca, which stood at 71,942 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Villa Fuerte changed from 815 to 664, a shift of -18.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Gumaca. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Villa Fuerte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Gumaca is a municipality comprising 59 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villa Fuerte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
