Barangay Villa Mendoza

Barangay Villa Mendoza is a very small barangay in the municipality of Gumaca, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Villa Mendoza had a population of 222. This made it the 51st largest of 59 barangays in Gumaca by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa Mendoza accounted for approximately 0.31% of the total population of Gumaca, which stood at 71,942 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Villa Mendoza moving from 209 residents to 222 residents, an intercensal change of +6.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Villa Mendoza is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
