Barangay San Pedro (Pob.)

Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Hermosa, located in the province of Bataan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) had a population of 2,324. This made it the 14th largest of 23 barangays in Hermosa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.00% of the total population of Hermosa, which stood at 77,443 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) changed from 2,318 to 2,324, a shift of +0.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Hermosa. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Hermosa is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Pedro (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
