Barangay Doos Del Norte

Situated in Hindang, Leyte, Barangay Doos Del Norte is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Doos Del Norte had a population of 1,224. This made it the 8th largest of 20 barangays in Hindang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Doos Del Norte accounted for approximately 5.87% of the total population of Hindang, which stood at 20,849 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Doos Del Norte changed from 1,252 to 1,224, a shift of -2.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Hindang. Barangay Doos Del Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Hindang is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Doos Del Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
