Barangay Tagbibi

Situated in Hindang, Leyte, Barangay Tagbibi is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagbibi had a population of 2,055. This made it the 3rd largest of 20 barangays in Hindang by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tagbibi accounted for approximately 9.86% of the total population of Hindang, which stood at 20,849 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tagbibi moving from 2,105 residents to 2,055 residents, an intercensal change of -2.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Tagbibi is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
