Barangay Lonoy Roma

Situated in Inabanga, Bohol, Barangay Lonoy Roma is one of 50 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lonoy Roma had a population of 658. This made it the 38th largest of 50 barangays in Inabanga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lonoy Roma accounted for approximately 1.36% of the total population of Inabanga, which stood at 48,534 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 581 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 658 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lonoy Roma as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Inabanga is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lonoy Roma, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bohol, which contains 1,109 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Lonoy Roma ranks 796th by 2020 population.
