Barangay Carasuchi

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Carasuchi is one of the administrative divisions of Indang in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Carasuchi had a population of 1,435. This made it the 24th largest of 36 barangays in Indang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Carasuchi accounted for approximately 2.09% of the total population of Indang, which stood at 68,699 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Carasuchi changed from 1,315 to 1,435, a shift of +9.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Indang. Barangay Carasuchi is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Indang is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Carasuchi, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
