Situated in Indang, Cavite, Barangay Kaytambog is one of 36 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kaytambog had a population of 1,457. This made it the 23rd largest of 36 barangays in Indang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kaytambog accounted for approximately 2.12% of the total population of Indang, which stood at 68,699 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,249 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,457 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +16.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Kaytambog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
