Barangay Pinaglapatan

Barangay Pinaglapatan is a small barangay in the municipality of Infanta, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pinaglapatan had a population of 1,462. This made it the 20th largest of 36 barangays in Infanta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinaglapatan accounted for approximately 1.92% of the total population of Infanta, which stood at 76,186 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pinaglapatan changed from 1,173 to 1,462, a shift of +24.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Infanta. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pinaglapatan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Infanta is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pinaglapatan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pinaglapatan ranks 435th by 2020 population. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
