Barangay Caminto

Barangay Caminto is a very small barangay in the municipality of Inopacan, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caminto had a population of 216. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Inopacan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caminto accounted for approximately 1.01% of the total population of Inopacan, which stood at 21,389 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Caminto moving from 228 residents to 216 residents, an intercensal change of -5.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Caminto is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
