Barangay Limao

Barangay Limao is a mid-sized barangay in the city of Island Garden City of Samal, located in the province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Limao had a population of 2,858. This made it the 12th largest of 46 barangays in Island Garden City of Samal by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Limao accounted for approximately 2.45% of the total population of Island Garden City of Samal, which stood at 116,771 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Limao moving from 2,497 residents to 2,858 residents, an intercensal change of +14.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Limao is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
