Barangay Miranda (Pob.)

Barangay Miranda (Pob.) is a large barangay in the city of Island Garden City of Samal, located in the province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Miranda (Pob.) had a population of 7,576. This made it the 1st largest of 46 barangays in Island Garden City of Samal by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Miranda (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.49% of the total population of Island Garden City of Samal, which stood at 116,771 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Miranda (Pob.) changed from 7,113 to 7,576, a shift of +6.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Island Garden City of Samal. Barangay Miranda (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
