Barangay Tagdaliao

Barangay Tagdaliao is a small barangay in the city of Island Garden City of Samal, located in the province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagdaliao had a population of 935. This made it the 45th largest of 46 barangays in Island Garden City of Samal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Tagdaliao accounted for approximately 0.80% of the total population of Island Garden City of Samal, which stood at 116,771 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 765 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 935 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +22.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tagdaliao is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Island Garden City of Samal is a city comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tagdaliao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
