Barangay San Vicente

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Vicente is one of the administrative divisions of Jamindan in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 1,095. This made it the 15th largest of 30 barangays in Jamindan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 2.83% of the total population of Jamindan, which stood at 38,670 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Vicente changed from 1,079 to 1,095, a shift of +1.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Jamindan. Barangay San Vicente is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jamindan is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
