Barangay Disimpit

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Disimpit is one of the administrative divisions of Jones in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Disimpit had a population of 522. This made it the 34th largest of 42 barangays in Jones by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Disimpit accounted for approximately 1.14% of the total population of Jones, which stood at 45,628 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Disimpit changed from 561 to 522, a shift of -7.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Jones. Barangay Disimpit is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
