Barangay Bachaw Norte

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bachaw Norte is one of the administrative divisions of Kalibo in Aklan, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bachaw Norte had a population of 2,611. This made it the 12th largest of 16 barangays in Kalibo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bachaw Norte accounted for approximately 2.93% of the total population of Kalibo, which stood at 89,127 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,336 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,611 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bachaw Norte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kalibo is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bachaw Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
