Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Kauswagan in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) had a population of 3,524. This made it the 3rd largest of 13 barangays in Kauswagan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 14.57% of the total population of Kauswagan, which stood at 24,193 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) moving from 3,726 residents to 3,524 residents, an intercensal change of -5.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kauswagan is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
