Barangay Inudaran

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Inudaran is one of the administrative divisions of Kauswagan in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Inudaran had a population of 903. This made it the 11th largest of 13 barangays in Kauswagan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Inudaran accounted for approximately 3.73% of the total population of Kauswagan, which stood at 24,193 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Inudaran moving from 841 residents to 903 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Inudaran is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kauswagan is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Inudaran, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
